Kundalini Yoga is an ancient technology with over 5000 different meditations and physical practices. Many of these have been scientifically studied and found to have therapeutic benefits for mental health disorders. It also helps to develop flexibility, tone muscles, and strengthen the nervous, glandular, and immune systems. It is also known to increase mental energy and cultivates a deep inner calm. This body of teachings was brought to the west by Yogi Bhajan in the late 1960’s and incorporates all elements of the ancient teachings of yoga: Asana (physical practice), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Mantra (sound), Mudra (hand positions), and Meditation. These aspects are combined into series of actions called Kriyas. Some Kriyas are dynamic and energetic, while others are slow and meditative. No prior experience is necessary. Advanced registration is encouraged.

Sunday, August 26th from 4:00-6:00pm  *  Cost: $30/person
Join Satpal and John for a deeply nourishing practice during the Pisces full moon! When the moon is full there is greater pressure on the glandular system which means there is increased potential for the body to heal itself. Together, participants will consciously direct that energy with Kundalini Yoga mantra meditation, and the gong. This special workshop will dive into teachings that are only practiced on the full moon, and offer the opportunity to bathe in the healing vibrations of the gong as we deeply relax, and chant our hearts out.
