Our workshops and series classes provide participants with the opportunity to deepen their practice, explore new topics and styles of movement, and learn from expert teachers while cultivating community and having fun!

Bridge Studio offers a wide variety of workshops, series topics, and yoga teacher training intensives including Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Yamuna Body Rolling®, Chair Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. Please note that our workshop schedule changes from time to time. Yamuna Body Rolling® with Melora Gregory, Certified YBR® Instructor
This is an online Workshop Series offered through the Zoom platform. 

Fall 2021 75 Minute Yamuna Body Rolling® Series Information:

Schedule: Tuesday evenings from 5:15-6:30pm, from September 21st-November 2nd
Individual class pass: $25 per workshop; $30 for members of the same household

SPECIAL 7-class pass: Attend all 7 scheduled YBR® workshops for $150

To Register for a Yamuna Body Rolling® Workshop or the Full Fall 2021 Session:

– Visit our Class Schedule & Sign Up Page. Scroll down to the bottom of the “Full Calendar“, select the date of the workshop you would like to attend, and click “Sign Up“.
– Click “Next“, then sign into your Mindbody account (or create one if you are a new student).
– If you would like to register for the whole series and purchase the 7 Class Pass, select the first workshop date, September 21st, 2021, and select the “7 Class Pass” purchase option at checkout. Then, enter your name into each of the workshop dates to ensure that you are registered for the series. 
– Once you have registered and paid for class, you will be sent a confirmation email of your registration.
– 1 hour to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of class, you will be sent an email invitation to join a Zoom meeting with Bridge Studio. Click the link provided in the email to be brought to class. If you do not receive an email invitation at least 30 minutes prior to class, email bridgestudioatartofawareness@gmail.com to be sent a new invitation.

Fall 2021 Virtual Workshop Schedule:

Workshop #1: September 21st: Leg & Hip Muscles Lengthened
Props needed: Either the gold, silver, or pearl YBR® ball
Release tight hamstrings, quadriceps, adductors, iliotibial band and buttock muscles to create length and free the pull on the lower back, pelvis and knees. Help relieve sciatic pain caused by tight piriformis. Free the muscles to function properly and release their pull on the pelvis, knees and lower back.

Workshop #2: September 28th: Neck & Shoulders Release
Props needed: Either 1 pearl or 1 black YBR® ball, and 1 gold YBR® ball
Lift the sternum, widen the collarbones, free neck stiffness and release tightness in the pectorals and shoulders. Lengthen your spine and feel more mobile and spacious in the upper body. Good for rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, scoliosis, and neck issues.

Workshop #3: October 5th: Deep Hip Opening
Props needed: 1 black YBR® ball
Release tightness from the deep lateral rotators including the piriformis, tone the buttocks, work out tight hamstrings, hip flexors, adductors and iliotibial bands, freeing the leg attachments to the pelvis. Bring circulation to entire ball socket joint. Great for arthritis, low back, hip and knee issues.

Workshop #4: October 12th: Feet, Ankle, & Knee Support
Props needed: Foot and hand wakers, 1 gold or 1 silver YBR®ball, and 1 black ball YBR® ball
Restore healthy foot function by creating balance, flexibility, strength, and raised arches. Work on ankle mobility and lengthen and tone calf and shin muscles. Develop long and strong adductor and quadricep muscles to stabilize the knee. Good for bunions, plantar fasciitis, and hammer-toe.

Workshop #5: October 19th: Hand, Wrist, Arm, & Shoulder Support
Props needed: Foot and hand wakers, and 1 black or 1 indigo YBR® ball
Relieve stress from repetitive motion. All work that we do contracts hand muscles. Connect the movements at the ends of the muscle chains, the hands, up through the forearm to their source at the shoulders. Great for arthritis, tennis elbow, and carpal tunnel.

Workshop #6: October 26th: Hip and Spine Rebalance
Props needed: Either 2 indigo or 2 black YBR® balls
Release tension and holding patterns in the entire spine from the tailbone to the skull. Work the gluteals and hip joints, the hamstrings, and the front of the pelvis to stimulate a letting go of the adductors and psoas. Great for back and neck issues, as well as tight hip flexors and hamstrings.

Workshop #7: November 2nd: Low & Mid Back Saver
Props needed: Either 1 pearl or 1 gold, and 1 black YBR® ball
Create spinal length to release back tension, including deep psoas work. Traction the spine while developing core strength. New routine to get the quadratus lumborum. Good for compressed disks, psoas and iliacus imbalances, sacroiliac joint issues, and stimulates digestion. Feel spacious, taller and stronger after elongating the torso.
