Our workshops and series classes provide participants with the opportunity to deepen their practice, explore new topics and styles of movement, and learn from expert teachers while cultivating community and having fun!

Bridge Studio offers a wide variety of workshops, series topics, and yoga teacher training intensives including Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Yamuna Body Rolling®, Chair Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. Please note that our workshop schedule changes from time to time. As of June 30th, 2023, Bridge Studio will be closing all operations until further notice. All Yoga classes and/or trainings will no longer be scheduled after June 30th. 

We have appreciated our student’s support and participation in our Yoga and body-centered practices over the last several years since we opened Bridge Studio. We are grateful to have experienced the community our Yoga studios and incredible Teachers have cultivated over this time.

We would like to honor and recognize the beauty and spaciousness of what Water Studio has offered us, and we will be hosting a celebratory community event prior the closing of Bridge Studio. We will be sharing more details about this event soon!

Free Gratitude Class Information
Join us in this FREE celebration and Gratitude class co-taught by Melora Gregory (Gentle Floor Flow) and Natalie O’Donnell (Yoga Nidra). We are celebrating approximately 8 years of community and wellness practices at Bridge Studio with this special free class to express our gratitude for all of our students, teachers, staff and the beautiful practice spaces at Bridge Studio. This class will happen in person at Bridge studio and space is limited (advanced sign up is encouraged). Class will begin with a gentle floor flow practice (with some kneeling) led by Melora Gregory and will close with guided Yoga Nidra led by Natalie O’Donnell.

Saturday, March 11th, 10:30-11:45am: Leg and Hip Muscles Lengthened
Props needed:silver and gold YBR® balls

Release tight hamstrings, quadriceps, adductors, iliotibial band and buttock muscles to create length and free the pull on the lower back, pelvis and knees. Help relieve sciatic pain caused by tight piriformis. Free the muscles to function properly and release their pull on the pelvis, knees and lower back.

Saturday, April 22nd, 10:30-11:45am: Earth Day – Ground your Feet on Earth! Feet, Ankles and Knees
Props needed: foot wakers, and gold or silver, and black or indigo  YBR® balls
Restore healthy foot function by creating balance, flexibility, strength, and raised arches. Work on ankle mobility and lengthen and tone calf and shin muscles. Develop long and strong adductor and quadricep muscles to stabilize the knee. Good for bunions, plantar fasciitis, and hammer-toe.

Saturday, May 27th, 10:30-11:45am: Neck and Shoulder Release
Props needed: Gold or silver, and pearl or black YBR® balls
Lift the sternum, widen the collarbones, free neck stiffness and release tightness in the pectorals and shoulders. Lengthen your spine and feel more mobile and spacious in the upper body. Good for rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, scoliosis, and neck issues.

Workshop 1: Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, 5:30-6:45pm: Release the PSOAS
Props needed: 2 indigo or substitute with 2 black YBR® balls

Systematically release the psoas and iliacus from origin to insertion. Good for back issues, weak or tight hip flexors, intestinal health, adductor stimulation, abdominal toning. Open the leg and arm attachments to feel longer and more spacious.

Workshop 2: Tuesday, May 3oth, 2023, 5:30-6:45pm: Low and Mid Back Relief
Props needed: Gold or substitute silver, and a black or indigo YBR® ball

Create spinal length to release back tension, including deep psoas work. Traction the spine while developing core strength. Work into the quadratus lumborum. Good for compressed disks, psoas and iliacus imbalances, sacroiliac joint issues, and stimulates digestion. Feel spacious, taller and stronger after elongating the torso.

Workshop 3: Tuesday, June 27th, 2023, 5:30-6:45pm: Target the Hips and Legs
Props needed: 2 indigo or substitute with 2 black, and any other YBR® ball

Work the sides of the legs intensely on the IT bands, adductors, and calves. Experience deep outer hip and buttock muscle release. Lengthen both quadriceps and hamstrings. Work slowly and deeply to free hips, iliotibial bands, knees, and unravel leg strain all the way to the feet.

Chair Yoga Teacher Training with Mindy Miller Muse E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, LCSW
Join Mindy Miller Muse E-RYT 500, YA-CEP of Yoga Muse School of Yoga (RYS) for a one day Chair Yoga teacher training offered in person at Bridge Studio! 

This Continuing education training is open to Certified Yoga teachers (it is not a certification program) and is also open to interested practitioners who want to deepen their own understanding and practice of integrating the use of a chair in Yoga practices. This intensive will explore how and why to use a chair as a prop to invite more accessibility, stability and ease in postures and in breathing practices. These practices can be helpful to incorporate as self care breaks during office work and/or traveling as well. This training integrates a trauma informed, choice based approach to teaching Yoga postures and mindfulness practices. A portion of this day will include a chair practice led by Mindy, and may include some optional practicum teaching.
 
Schedule: Friday, May 26th, 11:00am-5:00pm
Location: In-person at Bridge Studio’s Water Studio. Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes before class starts to maximize your experience and minimize disruption

Yoga for Your Grieving Heart with Susannah Sanfilippo, RYT-200
This is a closed
6-Week Yoga and Bereavement community circle offered at Bridge Studio‘s Water Studio at Art of Awareness, held on Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm.

Grieving the death of a loved one can be a confusing, overwhelming and lonely process. Grief surfaces in our emotional hearts, and in our physical bodies. This 6-week yoga and bereavement community circle is for anyone suffering the emotionally and physically exhausting effects of grief. It is recommended that your loss has occurred at least six months prior to your participation in class.

Schedule:
First 6-Week Session: February 28-April 4th, 2023, Tuesdays, 6-8pm
Second 6-Week Session: May 2-June 6th, 2023, Tuesdays, 6-8pm
Pricing:
$160 for the closed 6-class series* *If you attend the first class and decide that it is not the right fit, please let us know by the second week of the session and we will give you a 100% refund.

Trauma Informed Teacher Training with Mindy Miller Muse E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, LCSW
This is a one day intensive
offered at Bridge Studio’s Water Studio at Art of Awareness.

This one day intensive with Mindy Miller Muse E-RYT500, C-IAYT, LCSW will explore using a trauma informed approach to leading yoga and other body centered mindfulness practices. This full day training will focus on being trauma informed in Yoga and body centered practices and also on adapting yoga and other body based practices for trauma survivors. This will include an overview of the theories that inform trauma sensitivity and how trauma impacts the nervous system. Topics will include trauma informed language and the intentional inclusion of choice in our teaching. This training day will begin with a trauma-informed Yoga practice led by Mindy (no physical assists) and a portion of the day will include practice teaching.

Schedule: Sunday, June 11th, 8am-5pm
Pricing:
$$160 (sliding scales and payment plans available upon request*)
Logistics and safety:
Masks are optional and welcome but not required. Participants are welcome to bring indoor shoes to wear in the studio or to practice in socks/barefoot.
Eligibility:
This training is open to Yoga teachers and other body-centered service professionals.

Cancellation Policy:
We require a 5 day notification for a full refund minus a 20% administrative fee. If you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice, we will provide you with a studio credit. When you give us less that 48 hours, cancellation/absence is non-refundable.
